Welcome to the Lumenswap Community
Hey there, a very warm welcome to the Lumenswap Community Website.
We are a passionate group of cryptocurrency fans who share a love of Lumenswap and the Stellar Network.
The reason for the site is to help all levels of our community understand how to utilise the $LSP token and navigate the Lumenswap client.
This is a self-funded traditional website and isn’t the official Lumenswap website or a dapp.

What is the Stellar Network?
Stellar is a decentralised, open source, cross border network that allows us to send a variety of tokenised digital assets from one online address to another.
It is incredibly fast having a ledger finality time of 3-5 seconds. It is also incredibly cheap costing virtually zero in ‘gas fees’ per transaction. Many tokens are created on top of this network, Lumenswap is one of these tokens.
The gas on the Stellar Network is paid in it’s native coin $XLM. You will need a Stellar wallet and some $XLM ( recommended 5) to transact on the Stellar Network.
Stellar was founded in 2014.
What is Lumenswap?
Lumenswap is an open-source client for the Stellar network that allows you to swap and trade assets on the network using a friendly, minimal interface.
In essence all the tokens that are available on the Stellar Network can be swapped and traded using Lumenswap’s Spot and Swap features. Lumenswap has a utility token called $LSP. $LSP will have a variety of uses within the Lumenswap ecosystem.
Lumenswap already has a working product and has a roadmap that includes an Automated Market Maker, Auction Incubator for new Stellar projects, a Bridge from Stellar to Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain Network and a Digital Lending Client.
Lumenswap will be the flagship Decentralised Finance (DeFi) Protocol on the Stellar Network.
Lumenswap was founded in 2020.

What are Automated Market Makers?
In traditional markets buyers and sellers determine the price of assets based on the orders they place.
Automated Market Makers allow trading of assets in a permissionless and borderless way. This is conducted by using a Liquidity Pool or LP. A mathematical formula determines the price of assets rather than traditional buy and sell orders.
AMM platforms bootstrap this liquidity using their community’s crypto funds.
They incentivise users to deposit a combination of various assets. This can provide holders of assets an opportunity to earn interest on the assets they ‘lock’ into the platform. The total amount locked into these LP’s is called TVL or Total Value Locked.
There are some very big TVL AMM’s on other networks but many have really high gas costs and are very slow. Stellar Network doesn’t have these problems and will be one of the fastest and cheapest AMM networks in the Cryptoverse.
Have you heard about the Lumenswap Lottery?
The first of Lumenswap’s secret additional features was revealed at the end of October 2021…The Lumenswap Lottery.
A decentralised, borderless and inclusive Lottery to be built on the Stellar Network.
The Lottery runs over the period of a month and has a first prize of $XLM to the value of $100,000 (which is represented by a Tesla Model S)!!
